2013 Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim Results

The weather on the morning of the swim was dry. The wind speed was 10 – 12 Knots (Force 3-4) in the bay which veered from SE to SSE during the swim. Although a relatively light wind for Galway Bay, the direction of the wind was favourable as swimmers would have been swimming with the wind on the crossing.
